First sail for my AZIZ

Thought you may want to see this old post. Took the Aziz out to the lake today. I wnded up taking it out a day early. The wind was calm, and the Aziz was ready to go. Here are a few pictures of the first run: The Aziz before I set it in the water. I have both 12 volt batteries inside so it will set below the water line. For the next run I will just use one battery. Also, you see that I have allot more work yet to do!!! Setting it in the water... (wife took a shot of my butt... looks like I have a few pounds I need to loose) Water nice and calm. Turns and runs great. Moving with the sticks ahead 1/4 view of the stern, decking looks good. More items to add. Me... The Aziz is very stable in the water. Turns very well with rudders and with just the screws. I even let the WIFE have a turn. :glare: No water inside after a 30 min run. Back from the lake, resting waiting for the wife to tell me to "get it out of the living room". Plus a great set of fittings and a good fiberglass hull to start with.
