Why should I join this fourm/board? I am a member of other boards. What has this one got that i am missng with the others?

You have asked a good question. There are quite a number of model fourms out there today on the net. For example, one that I am a member of and highly recommend is Warship Models Underway! Message Board. This board is for those who enjoy warship models. This board is run by Kurt Greiner and he asks you all to remember that his discussion board is for Warship models, not a general place to post photos of any boat or ship model you happen to have. While he does enjoy well built civilian models too, he tries very hard keeping his website and forum on topic. Even if you do not have a warship model, you can read the posts and learn alot about the hobby. If you are a member of another board, we hope that you continue to support them.

MODEL MARINA DISCUSSION BOARD

This board is set up to cover the "Scale" R/C model boat and ship hobby. This covers scale fishing type boats to scale tugs. Scale model warships are also an item that even I have a few projects on the building tables. I don't tend to be as strict to the type of models as long as they are scale in nature.

* Gallery. Each member can create there own Gallery of pictures/movies on their models.
* Search. An excellent Search feature to help find what you are looking for.

* My Assistant. An easy to use area to quickly read PMs from other members.
* Pictures. Members are allowed to post up to 10 pictures per post.
* E-mail notifications. Members can get email notifications of new post and new PMs.
* Edit Signature. Members can edit their Signature to include both graphics and HTML.
* Messenger. Each member has an easy to use messenger to compose messages, read and save messages and you are allowed to create folders to store your messages!
* Your personal note pad. As a part of your Control Panel, you are given an area to save “notes” of information that me be useful at a later time.
* Other Hobbies. An area for members to share the other hobbies they enjoy.
* Warn System. A system set up to identify members who post items that are inappropriate (to include SPAM). This takes out the garbage and filters the posts.
* NO FEE. IT”S ALL FREE!
