Running Gear:

Now I slid the nozzle hull mount between the legs and drilled a hole through the hull where the hole is in each nozzle hull mount. Then I removed the assembly. The prop shaft rudder skeg then slides onto the tube and slides up to into place with  the prop shaft "A" frames.

The picture below shows how the parts start to fit together.

Take the rudder shaft, mark up 8mm from one end, note that this will be the bottom. Take a pair of rudder halves, place around the shaft and mark where the top of the rudder shaft comes. With a pair of pliers heavily score the shaft between your marks where the rudder halves cover it, now glue with epoxy the rudder halves to the shaft, place aside for glue to thoroughly set.

Fit and glue the rudder top/bottom ring to the top and bottom on rudder halves. Slide the rudder tube down the rudder shaft to contact the rudder.  Note that by heavily scoring the shaft, you are providing a good key for the glue.  The picture below show the rudder halves being glued together.

Position a rudder/tube assembly into place on tile hull, cut from PPS-1 the two P163's.

Now place one P163 onto the shaft end, slide one prop shaft rudder skeg up to the prop shaft "A" frame.  Fit a Kort nozzle over P163 so the slot in the Kort nozzle fits over the prop shaft rudder skeg.  Test fit the entire assembly into position with the rudder shaft into the hole in the end of prop shaft rudder skeg ensuring that rudder top/bottom rings are in place. While holding the assembly in place fit the wire keeper through the holes in prop shaft "A" frames, push the Kort nozzle hull mounts into place between the legs of the prop shaft "A" frames.  Now snap down the keeper through the hole in the hull and the Kort nozzle hull mount. Repeat this process for the other set of running gear. If done correctly the two assemblies will hold together without gluing. Allow visual aligning from side to side, below and back.  Picture below shows a test fit before the rudders were test fitted into place.

When you are satisfied that all looks and everything is aligned,  glue into place with epoxy.
