Preparing To Start:

It will be essential for you to familiarize yourself with the general concept of construction and to understand the principles of assembly. Read the assembly instructions several times, sit down with the kit, unroll the drawings, and go through the parts so you can identify them all. It will help if you have a sturdy work board to cut out and sub-assemble parts on. Model Slipway recommend a piece of plywood of at least 1/2" thick by about 4ft x 2ft. Make sure it is firm and stable.

The pictures below  show the kit as inspected by me after opening.   There were no missing items in my kit. Before you start to build, take your time to locate each piece and to become familiar with the parts included with the kit. There is a part locator included with the kit directions to aide you in identifying parts.
