I have one of these radios that I ordered from Harbor Models with the Navy Twin Stick. Looking at the radio after I got it and all of the extras, looks like this is a quality set. Anyone have anything to add? biggrin.gif

That radio is in my sights as well. Seems like it has all the features whether standard or optional to control your scale craft without any compromises.cool.gif

Hi

I ordered the FC-16 from Robbe, it seems that the twin throttle is situated on the left stick.

Any chance for this to switch over to the right (ie right stick for throttle, thus using the left for rudder?

The reason why i ask is that I've been using throttle on the right for all my planes and helis - having the twin throttle on the right would be a big help to avoid disorientation.

As far as I know, YES you can change the sticks. This will allow you to switch over to the right stick for throttle, thus using the left for rudder. All you do is take out the screws the hold the sticks in, change them and screw them back in. You do it this way because the throttle stick is ratcheted.

What are the differences between the FD-16 and the F14 navy? unsure.gif

The F-14 Navy has the twin sticks for the throttle. Plus I belive the FD-16 is a expandable Computer RC-System. Am I right Mac? wink.gif

The key differences are as follows

1) Analog proportional trims vs Digital trim on the FC-16. I guess I prefer digital trim, cos I can avoid accidental shifting of the trims.

2) I'm not sure if the Endpoint travel can be adjusted on the F14, but the FC-16 allows a more precise endpoint adjustments for servos

3) 2 internal models on the FC16 vs a single model on the F-14. FC-16 is campac expandable (more model memory via memory module) so I can use it for multiple boats.

I was right, it's a computer radio. tongue.gif
