I am looking for some information on how to install a diesel sound generator, my step-father wants to install this device in his Model Slipway Wyeforce Tug Boat. All he knows about the sound generator is that it came in a plain box with the label Apache Diesel Sound Generator on the outside label, he thinks he bought it online but is not sure. It has no model number or manufacturer information anywhere on the box or on the sound generator itself. Also, Apache could be the manufacturer, but I can't confirm that, or it could be a generator that was meant to go in a RC Apache Helicopter... don't know for sure. dry.gif

According to my step-father it has six wires; he believes two are for power, two are for the speaker, and he thinks two are for the speed controller. His problem is these last two wire are both green and he is not sure if they are to be connected in parallel or series or some other way. In any case, he is afraid to connect them until he is certain which is correct ,since he doesn't want to damage either the sound generator or the speed controller.

We have searched the Internet for weeks and even tried contacting local hobby stores, but can find no one who can give us an answer on how to connect the device up correctly. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! smile.gif
