HAVE YOU EVER MADE A ICE BRAKER. DAVE Dave, This is really not the "Great State of Freeze Your Ass Off" anymore. Yes it is cold here but not like it was when I got here in 1987! It seems to be getting warmer a little bit each year... Global Warming??? Like today the temp is a very warm 41! Seems to be getting warmer each year... but I still remember the -30 degree temps... and thats not with the wind chill!!!!!!!!!! But as I get older I seem to be out in the cold less and less. In the Fall I tend to make my last voyage at the lake and then get ready for the long Winter. If I need to test a hull during the Winter I use an inflatable kids pool in the basement. Easy to fill and easy to drain. I mostly use the Winter time to build on my models. Although this Winter has found me working on models that FLY and not those that FLOAT. I have never built an ice breaker. It would be cool to see one working on a lake with very very thin ice. Roger -------------------- |
