At the first part of Sept. I spent some time flying model rockets with the family. The kids had a BALL!
Ready for flight! Here are the kids, the wife... her mother and ... Grand Mother... Hooking up the clips. 5.. 4..3..2..1..LAUNCH!!! Getting ready for another flight. Kids are GREAT... I don't have to go and find the rockets anymore! -------------------- |

I saw my first rocket launch last summer. It was from a distance of at least 1/4 mile, but over wide open territory. I was at Muncie IN, at the AMA headquarters, also watching my first sailplane meet. The rocket took off in the distance and I was shocked at the altitude this thing achived. There were several more launches that day and I enjoyed watching them too. ........... sloboat.
