An avatar is a little image that appears under your username when you view a topic or post you authored. On this board, you may either choose from the board gallery, you can enter a URL to an avatar stored on your server or upload an avatar to use. You may also set the width of the avatar to ensure that it's sized in proportion as long as it's not wider than 150 px wide.

Here is "Step By Step" How To Set Your Avatar

1. Click on "My Controls" at the top menu




2. After "My Controls" opens, click on "Edit Avatar Settings" on the lower left menu in the Personal Profile area.




3. This is where you can pick a avatar to use or enter a URL to an avatar stored on your server or upload an avatar to use. If you know the URL of the avatar you wish to use just enter the URL in the http:// box and then click on "update Avatar"
If you wish yo upload a avatar, click on "Browse" and locate the avatar on your hard drive. When finished click on "update Avatar"



NOTE: There are three galleries that contain avatars pre loaded for the members of this board to use. These galleries are Base Gallery, IPB Community Pack and Smiley Avatars. You wish to use one of these, click on the gallery you wish to look at, click "Go" then select a avatar you wish to use. The click on "Use Selected Avatar"

4. Now click on "Update Avatar" Note: IF YOU SELECTED AN AVATAR FROM THIS BOARD IN A GALLERY, WHEN YOU SELECT IT, IT'S UPDATED AT THAT TIME AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO CLICK ON "UPDATE AVATAR"

Now you are done and you should have yourself a avatar.
