Working on the stand.We had a bar top of one piece Mahogany 48 by 26 inches from My aunt in NOLA.I suspect it was from the Higgins Boat works of world war two vintage.That's where some of the PT boats [ ? ] and most of the landing craft's were made.I think my uncle worked there in the war.He made the bar.
Not much Mahogany these days is that large.I sanded it down and refinished it,looks great.Black stands are not yet permanently in place. |
