NOTE:
When looking
for defects to fill in your hull do not use just your
eyes. Use your hands. Rub your hands/fingers
over the hull/deck. You will be able to find areas
that need filler that you are unable to see.
Make
up the rear access hatch as shown in figs. 2A & 2B on
the plan. Cement the 1/16 ply tags shown in 2B to the
hatch only. Also cement a tag to the underside of the
deck on the center line to support the hatch until the
rest of the Bofors mount is added. Cut through frame 12
with a razor saw to free the hatch.
NOTE:
For my
hatch, used 4-40 screws and blind nuts to hold down the
hatch.
I made my tags and drilled them to accept the blind nuts. After
they were made, I installed them on the under side of
the deck.
