Mix your risen (I use those neat little disposable dishes) and disposable brushes.  Make sure you don't use the "cheap" brushes, they tend to leave their bristles in the resin making more work for you.

Follow the manufacturers instructions for mixing the type of resin you will use. Start by mixing enough resin to cover the cloth.      Be sure to work in a well-ventilated area.

Apply resin over the glass cloth, working it into the fibers of the cloth trough to the wood (hull) with a disposable brush. I started at the transom and worked toward the bow. Be sure the resin saturates the cloth and that the cloth does not lift from the hull, leaving air bubbles under the cloth. Do not trim the excess cloth until the resin has completely dried.
