The Dumas instructions now tell you to carefully remove
the Keel from the Frames. Then to mix up some slow
setting epoxy and glue the Keel to the Frames.
You can do this if you wish.
NOTE: I did not do
this step for my model the exact way as stated in the
kit instructions. Once I got the
frames glued to the building board, the Keel was still
left attached. I first removed the strings holding the
Keel in place.
After the string was removed, I used Thick CA to glue the Keel in place.
Then I added a small fillet of CA at the joints of the
Keel and the Frames.
Carefully remove the sheers then cement them in place
with slow epoxy.

NOTE: Instead of using Thick CA to make
your fillets, you can use epoxy mixed with micro
balloons.
Bevel
the keel and sheers with a sanding block so that the frames
fair smoothly into the keel and sheers.
