Back in
Step 01 you were told to
"remove S-1 & S-2, K-1 & K-2 and frames 1 through 14 and
set them aside". Now take these parts and with
some sandpaper, clean the edges of these parts.
Join the front and rear halves (S-1 & S-2) of the
sheers. I
used Thick CA.
Note that the inside and outside
edges of the sheers form a straight line at the splice.
Reinforce the lower side of the splice with a piece of
1/8 or 1/16 ply scrap. Be sure to make a left and
a right sheer.
