Here is the
last pictures I took of my USS Crockett. These are action shots
taken when I was running the
ship at flank speed. You can see the amount of "lean" the ship can
handle. The USS Crockett was never in danger of rolling over. |

Tests
were done to determine how effective it is to maneuver the ship without the rudders.
This was easier than I thought. The twin independently controlled screws
turned the ship with ease. Well, once I learned to control it, then it was with ease.
These pictures were taken Nov 01. After this she was sold to a
friend. |
