Continue planking down towards the keel in a similar manner, i.e. add a plank to the right side then add its counterpart on the left. The planks should be tapered and beveled as necessary for a good fit. You may wish to leave the top plank until last to facilitate the removal of the hull from the building board. Do not remove the hull from the board until the hull has been completely planked except for the upper plank.

When you have the hull planked, carefully remove the hull from the board. Add the top plank if you have not already done so.

Roger's Notes: Work carefully, tapering the planks as you work.   The first four planks of balsa will need to be bent and twisted. The planks will twist as you work toward the keel.  Since they bend less, they will become easier to lay down the closer to the keel you get.  The bending in the bow section is the most difficult area to plank correctly.

Planking
Roger's Notes: As you plank the hull, the entire structure will become very strong.   By pinning the hull to your board, as the glue dries it will ensure that the hull will be straight and true.  Do not remove the hull until the last plank.  If you used T pins, this is an easy process with the aid of pair of needle nose pliers.  If you glued the hull to your board, lots of luck. ;-)
