Because I started to install another running gear set into this hull, I had one stern tube that needed to be removed.  I had also drilled out the location of the "A" strut legs.  These locations where identified on the hull when I received it.  These locations where checked with the plans.

I did not use the rudders included in the running hardware  made by G.T. Sitek Scale Brass Propellers.  The rudders were shaped a bit differently from the full sized rudders.  They also used metric shafts.  I used the set of rudders I received with the hull from The Scale Shipyard.  Below is a picture of one rudder from G.T. Sitek Scale Brass Propellers:

After the shaft location was marked on the hull, I then marked the location of the rudders.  The rudders I got from The Scale Shipyard did not have the rudder post installed.  I used 1/8" brass rod for this.  After installing the rudder posts, I then drilled and installed the rudder tubes.
