Model Stand

  Homeport Model Ships offers an Ticonderoga Class Stand.  This a an  Acrylic Laser cut stand.

  Regardless of from where you purchased your hull, there are some things that you have to do before you install the deck. 

  Below is a picture where Eric is installing the running gear and rudder blocks.



Below Eric is adding filler to fill in the fiberglass weave.  This area of the bulwark will be visible on the finished model.

  There are other things that need to be done to get the hull ready for the deck.  Deck supports need to be installed.

  On the underside of the deck, cut the 1/4" inch edging around the inside of the decks, and place on the hull. Test fit into the hull. You might have to pull the hull into the boards to give the best fit. Homeport Model Ships builds their lasers to the specs of the shipbuilders. So Don't worry, this is how the real ship is suppose to look.
