A new Discussion Board has been set up!!Everyone is welcome to log in and try it out.  I still have a few bugs to work out yet.  You can log in by using the link below:

USS BUNKER HILL's primary mission is to operate with aircraft carrier battle groups in extreme threat environments well into the 21st century. The purpose of the ship is to detect, classify and track hundreds of potential targets simultaneously in the air, on the surface, and under the sea. It can destroy targets using a variety of weapons: ship and helicopter launched torpedoes, deck guns, surface-to-air and surface-to-surface missiles, rapid-fire close-in weapons, and electronic jammers and decoys.

No kit will be used for the construction of this model.  I have purchased a 1/96th scale fiberglass hull and fittings from The Scale Shipyard and will also be using other fittings and items from Sirmar.  Another source of parts is the Loyalhanna Dockyard.

My objective will be to not only have this model in the water by Spring 2007, but also to document it construction.
