Drill 1/8" holes through the indents on F2, F3 and F4. Their locations are also shown in the sections on the plan. These holes will be used to run the nylon tubing for the steering cable and radio antenna

Roger's Notes: Look at the previous step pictures, note the holes already drilled.

Align the transom over the drawing of the transom on the plan. Lay a straight edge on the transom, aligning it with the extended lines on both sides of the transom. Draw pencil lines across the transom. Then, cut and glue (use CA) the 1/8" square strip of basswood flush with the pencil lines on the transom, as shown here and on the plan.

Cut a piece of triangle stock to fit between the notches in F4, as shown on the plan. Apply Slow CA to one side of the triangle stock. Position it so that the edge of the triangle stock is flush with the straight edge of F4, as shown here and on the plan.
